Eyvi is proud to deliver a state-of-the-art aquaculture facility for Hima Seafood at Rjukan, designed for Superior Silver trout production. The project includes both hatchery/smolt and grow-outdepartments, featuring 16 advanced Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS) departments andsupporting systems. Our scope covers process turn-key deliveries under NS8417, as well as NS8407contracts for wastewater, sludge, and pre-processing, ensuring efficient and environmentallycompliant operations.
The 27,000 m2 site supports an annual production of 8,000 tons of premium trout (HOG), plus 3,400 tons of dried fertilizer and 1,100 tons of organic fish emulsion-totaling up to 12,500 tons per year. With cutting-edge RAS technology, the facility reduces water use and optimizes waste management, embodying Eyvi’s and Hima Seafood’s shared focus on sustainability and innovation in aquaculture.
